In 1971, right out of college, Gary Rossiter
qualified as a United Van Lines van operator, and for the next 20 years
performed top level executive moves coast to coast for hundreds of national
accounts. The goal of every move was to give the customer their "best move
ever". Earning national recognition multiple times as the top van operator
in the system meant repeat customers and the building of a network of agency
relationships throughout the country.
Patricia Rossiter was born into the moving industry. Her grandfather
started Albuquerque Moving in 1949, and was one of United Van Lines' original
agent shareholders. Her father continued in the moving industry as the
owner of multiple United agencies and Trish worked in the family business from
an early age.
In 1991, with three young sons, Gary retired
from the road. Gary and Trish decided to put their experience,
relationships, and service skills into their own company and founded Rossiter
Relocation Services, Inc. Rossiter set out immediately to attract the most
experienced and service-oriented personnel available in the moving industry.
Growth was swift and Rossiter Relocation quickly became recognized as "the
quality service provider" on the west coast. In 2001, Rossiter purchased
LDM Moving Service in Menlo Park, CA. Dating back to 1947, LDM Moving
Service had a history rich in quality service and customer satisfaction, making
it a perfect fit with Rossiter.
Today, Rossiter owns and operates more than 75
trucks and trailers, locally and nationwide. Giving each customer their
"best move ever" remains the motivation that drives every employee at Rossiter
Relocation Services, Inc. |
